Civil suits to keep missing trio’s cases alive

Suhakam commissioner Mah Weng Kwai hopes the report on the disappearance of Raymong Koh and Amri Che Mat will be made public. – The Malaysian Insight pic by Najjua Zulkefli, February 14, 2020.

THE civil suits filed by the wives of pastor Raymond Koh and Amri Che Mat, as well as M. Indira Gandhi, against the inspector-general of police and the government are to keep the issue alive, said former Court of Appeal judge Mah Weng Kwai. Mah, who is also a Suhakam commissioner, said the suits filed by Susanna Liew, Nor Haryati Ariffin and Indira will prompt further action by police.
