“This decision is based on the risk assessment conducted by the Johor Health Department, as well as the inability to perform a large scale health screening checks for all visitors. The parade celebrates five deities representing Johor Baru’s five Chinese clan associations — the Teochew, Hokkien, Hainan, Hakka and Cantonese.
