PETALING JAYA: Malaysia antara 120 negara membeli alat penyulitan yang dimanipulasikan dari sebuah syarikat Swiss dimiliki secara rahsia oleh Agensi Perisikan Pusat Amerika Syarikat , lapor Washington Post.
Laporan itu tidak menyatakan bila Malaysia membeli peranti penyulitan itu daripada Crypto AG atau sama ada ia masih digunakan.Crypto AG ditutup pada 2018, tetapi produknya masih digunakan lebih 12 negara. Washington Post melaporkan syarikat itu mengaut keuntungan daripada jualan peranti mereka ke seluruh dunia.
Ia memetik dokumen menunjukkan bagaimana CIA dan Agensi Keselamatan Negara AS mengawal hampir semua aspek operasi Crypto AG.“Ia adalah rampasan kuasa cerdik abad ini,” menurut dokumen yang dipetik akhbar itu.
Diharap CIA Amerika dapat membantu SPRM / AG mendapatkan perbualan antara Jho Low dan Najib untuk bantu menguatkan bukti kes pendakwaan seterusnya membawa kepada penjara di Sg Buloh.
