Election Commission chairman Datuk Azhar Azizan Harun said throughout the process, Covid-19 prevention guidelines would be enforced, including social distancing, wearing of face masks, the usage of sanitiser and gloves, as well as body temperature checks.
The process would be monitored by agents of the candidates, as well as observers appointed by the EC, said Azhar in a statement Monday .After early voting ends, the ballot boxes will be kept in the police lockup before being taken to the Paloh Hinai police station for counting on July 4.
