INTERNATIONAL tourists have started coming to the country after a hiatus due to Pandemic.

The recent scenario saw many tourists developing a fondness for Sabah traditional delicacies such as smoked pork and steamed tapioca.

However, the operator Losumi Gindara explained that wild boar hunting is still not allowed by the authority, so as a substitute they used pork.“Even pork meat is getting very expensive these days, but we have no choice and to sell them at a higher price. Her daughter, Judy Van, is in charge of making steamed tapioca which is also very popular among the locals and tourists alike. She also makes Linopot, rice wrapped in leaves.Michelle Liang, a PhD student from Beijing, and loves the Sinalau Bakas delicacy at a roadside in Ranau.
