China Mobile launches 5G-A, enhancing connectivity with faster speeds, reduced latency, and IoT integration. OPPO Find X7 series first to support.

, a leading telecommunications operator in China, announced the commercial launch of its 5G-A network, also known as 5.5G. The new technology also aims to improve connection scale, enabling a low-cost trillion-level Internet of Things network. China Mobile says it has played a leading role in developing 5G-A standards and will launch the world’s largest commercial deployment of the network in over 300 cities this year. The company also plans to promote the release of over 20 5G-A compatible phones within the year.

To showcase the new network, China Mobile has established 5G-A demonstration halls in various locations across China. Customers with theChina Mobile’s Vice President, Gao Tongqing, stated that this launch will further accelerate the development of new information infrastructure and unlock the full potential of 5G technology. The company plans to achieve widespread adoption of 5.5G in China through partnerships with manufacturers and chip suppliers.
