Terbaharu, Beijing melalui Menteri Luar, Wang Yi sanggup meminta bantuan Taliban untuk bersama memerangi etnik itu yang kononnya bernaung di bawah sebuah kumpulan ekstremis.Reuters melaporkan, fokus pertemuan itu adalah satu pengharapan Beijing terhadap Taliban untuk membantu melawan kumpulan berkenaan yang kononnya membawa ancaman langsung terhadap keamanan nasional China.
“Kumpulan itu membawa ancaman langsung terhadap keamanan China dan merupakan kewajipan bersama komuniti antarabangsa melawan mereka,” jelas Yi.
