While it had been speculated that the blogger had been picked up by the police over the planned"Save Malaysia Movement" assembly tomorrow, Bukit Aman CID director Comm Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain, in a press conference last night, clarified that his arrest had nothing to do with it.
Comm Mohd Shuhaily said the blogger was being investigated over several police reports lodged against him including on the leak of documents belonging to a government department and his revelation of assets belonging to the country's leaders.
