Charge all those involved in Miri lock-up rape, says IGP

Inspector-General of Police Abdul Hamid Bador says he will consult the attorney-general about the rape case.

“I intend to have all those responsible be charged in court,” he told FMT. Hamid said he will consult the attorney-general on the matter. The Sarawak police chief has suspended the two policemen on duty and promised to conduct an in-depth investigation into the incident. “The failure to strictly comply with the lock-up rules, or bypassing them as in this case, has allowed abuses in the handling of those in custody,” he said.

Cops licensed can do all kinds of crime. Very rare get caught .public scared of govt cops and town council staffs. By right should be friendly.
