Biologist, guide and wildlife photographer Chien C. Lee’s latest photography exhibit focuses on the art of deception used by wildlife, titled Masters of Disguise.
Each photograph comes with accompanying text that educates and enthrals visitors. There are also interactive panels that add further information and context to the organisms on display. One of ways to help protect not just the rainforest, but all natural habitats of the world, is to get more people to appreciate the natural world.
Lim Ying Xian, curator of GMBB, Malaysia’s creative community mall, notes that many of us know of the beauty found in other countries, but how do we not know about the beauty in our own country? Chien’s previous exhibition, Borneo’s Tree of Life, which documented his work discovering new and lost species of flora and fauna, was also regarded a resounding success, captivating the hearts and minds of visitors while it was displayed at GMBB as well.
