KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian-owned football club Cardiff City FC have expressed sadness over the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as condolences continue to pour from all over the world.

The coffin of Queen Elizabeth II is in it's journey to its final resting place, moving from Balmoral Castle through the streets of the Scottish capital, Edinburgh, where it will remain until it is flown to London ahead of the funeral Sept 19.He said the world including Malaysia were still reeling from the shock of her demise."It is with profound sadness that we in Malaysia feel about the passing of Her Majesty.

"On behalf of Cardiff City FC and my family based in Malaysia and London, we wish to convey our deepest condolences to the royal family. "Our thoughts are with them and to all those grieving throughout the United Kingdom, the Realms and the Commonwealth. Malaysia and the United Kingdom share a rich history together," he said in a statement.

He said the beloved Queen's legacy would live forever and that she had left her heart with the world.
