GEORGETOWN: Persatuan Pengguna Pulau Pinang menggesa Kerajaan Negeri Melaka menjalankan siasatan dan mengambil tindakan segera bagi mengatasi masalah hakisan pantai yang didakwa semakin serius di negeri itu.
Ujar beliau, berpuluh-puluh batang pokok di pesisiran pantai juga didapati tumbang dan beberapa bangsal nelayan mengalami kerosakan diancam masalah hakisan pantai. Tambabnya, nelayan di situ juga sukar melabuhkan perahu kerana kawasan pantai yang terhakis telah runtuh dan menjadi curam.
