Canadians and Germans are getting RM24k, while Malaysian ‘bujangs’ get RM500: Numan

: Activist Numan Afifi today made a comparison on Twitter concerning the difference between benefits received by Canadians and Germans with Malaysia.

“Canada and Germany gave ±RM24,000 per person, meanwhile Malaysians get RM500-800 for bujang. We deserve more,” Numan tweeted. Last Friday, Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Hassan announced a stimulus package aimed at easing the burden of many segments of the Malaysian populace; and the package included RM500 to RM800 cash handouts for bachelors earning a certain amount.

These type of welfare-based policies seems to be the norm in many countries which are fighting the Covid-19 pandemic. For example, Canada announced payments of up to RM6000 for four months to those who have been unemployed because of the crisis.

If Malaysian willing to paid higher tax in our paid,so we can get the good benefit.else shut up

Our backdoor government used to compare with others,not on this global crisis situation in order to help the rakyat. I believe the amount mentioned in the stimulation economy budget 1/2 or more have gone through the backdoor.
