KOTA KINABALU: A Cambodian fainted while scaling Mount Kinabalu and had to be piggy-backed down early Thursday (Nov 10) morning.

The 30-year-old woman was said to have just started her climb towards the summit when she passed out at KM6.3 near the Pendant Hut.

“Our mountain search and rescue team, together with mountain guides and Sabah Parks staff responded to provide assistance,” he said in a statement.
