Ab Rauf berkata, bagaimanapun nama Ketua Menteri Melaka yang baharu itu hanya akan diumumkan pada 3 petang sebelum Istiadat Pengurniaan Surat Cara Pelantikan dan Angkat Sumpah Jawatan, Taat Setia Serta Sumpah Simpan Rahsia Ketua Menteri Melaka Ke-12 dijadual Isnin ini. “Seramai 13 ADUN BN bersama dua ADUN gabungan dipanggil menghadap Yang Dipertua Negeri Melaka hari ini bagi membincangkan situasi politik negeri Melaka.
“Perbincangan menjurus kepada kesejahteraan rakyat khususnya kestabilan politik Melaka keseluruhannya. “Dimaklumkan kepada kami calon Ketua Menteri Melaka Ke-12 akan diumumkan pada 3 petang sebelum majlis angkat sumpah 9 Mac yang datangnya dalam kalangan wakil rakyat, 13 tambah dua orang ,” katanya pada sidang media di Ayer Keroh, hari ini.
