THE idea of a federal water protection agency is being floated to deal with river pollution blamed for hospitalising residents in Johor and causing water cuts in Selangor. National Water Services Commission chairman Charles Santiago said such a body will be able to unify all aspects of river management.

Yes 999 SOP system is faulty. Back in Sept 2013, I called 999 for several times requested for emergency help at 3am. One of the operators was dreaming asking me “makan apa?” Wasted 10mins telling him i was in emergency. Overall it took 2hours for police team to arrive.
