Here’s one example. In DMZ there’s a train that rides around the map. It’s easy to board, and you’ll likely find some great loot in there. One evening, a friend and I hopped on and cleaned out the cars. As we looked at the map to plan the best route to an extraction zone, we heard an enemy vehicle driving next to the train car. What followed was a shootout between two moving vehicles.has perhaps one of the most memorable “train run ‘n’ gun” scenarios in recent memory.
I may go in with the objective of recovering White Lotus intel , but at any moment the presence of ruthless AI or other players might deny me that objective.
, while there are things you can “win” in DMZ, the concept of “winning” doesn’t really exist. It’s about the emergent story that unfolds from deployment to extraction. That’s what I’m here for.Successful DMZ runs could, in theory, be completed without firing a single shot. Unlike in battle royales and other common FPS game modes, your gun is as much a defensive piece of equipment as a tool for murder.
What? Slow boring and dogshit like the rest of the game?
It's a shameless ripoff of Tarkov to be sure, but it nips and tucks that formula in smart ways that give it a broader appeal that Tarkov was *never* going to reach. I don't think it necessarily has the legs to retain players, but it's much more approachable

If they eased the done shot bot lasers it’s multiplayer of the year worthy. Being team shot by 8 bots all hitting dome shots is insane. Add a few other ways to exfill and some reasons to get out with the loot and they’ve got a hit. But they won’t it’s cod and they never fix it.
They just need to nerf the boys in DMZ and it'd be perfect. Right now, it feels like they are a bigger threat than players because of the sheer number of them AND the amount of damage they do with their pin perfect aim.
