Business group urges govt to postpone amendments to diseases act

PUTRAJAYA should postpone the amendments to the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988 as it may impact economic recovery, the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers said today. Its president Soh Thian Lai said as it is, the current laws are implemented inconsistently and unfairly. Effective July 2018, access to full reports will only be available with a subscription.
