KUALA LUMPUR, July 30 — Bursa Malaysia remained in negative territory at mid-morning today on selling pressure in heavyweights.

“We reckoned sentiments would continue to be negatively affected today on heightened political uncertainties. Of the heavyweights, Public Bank added one sen to RM4.00 while both Petronas Chemicals and TNB shed two sen to RM8.09 and RM9.71 respectively.Among the actives, Kanger eased half-a-sen to six sen, Tanco edged up half-a-sen to 21.5 sen, Sersol rose 12.5 sen to 60.5 sen, Scanwolf added 5.5 sen to 47.5 sen, and Sersol warrant gained 15.5 sen to 42.5 sen.
