KOTA KINABALU: A move to oust Sabah Umno chief Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin is believed to be triggered after he refused to make way for the return of Tan Sri Musa Aman to helm the state.
The sources said Bung Moktar did not respond to the request and the 40 minutes meeting ended without him giving any indication to vacate the post. He claimed that many division chiefs were not consulted before Umno president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi announced that Bung would lead Barisan in the polls.
