KUALA LUMPUR: Bukit Aman's Integrity and Standard Compliance Department (JIPS) will take stern action against a Deputy Superintendent and Inspector for attending a private party on Sunday (June 6), including terminating their employment.

Its director Comm Datuk Zamri Yahya said JIPS is also weighing what actions are to be taken against another Inspector and a rank-and-file policeman who were also among those detained following a raid at the private party held at a luxury hotel in the city.Its director Comm Datuk Zamri Yahya said two of the officers involved in the party - the Deputy Superintendent and Inspector - were habitual offenders.

"As police officers, and personnel, they should have shown better conduct," he said during an interview with The Star on Thursday ."Our actions are ongoing and those who are involved in wrongdoings will be dealt with," he said.
