PUTRAJAYA: Setelah hampir 20 bulan, Brunei akhirnya mengikut jejak negara jirannya, Malaysia yang melarang segala akad nikad di rumah persendirian berkuat kuasa pada hari ini.

Laporan itu turut disiarkan menerusi slot Berita Perdana pukul 8 malam menerusi stesen penyiaran milik kerajaan, Radio Televisyen Brunei yang juga dapat diikuti di Malaysia. Larangan itu turut meliputi pernikahan di premis solat berjemaah yang melibatkan dua masjid bertaraf negara, 12 masjid utama, 25 masjid mukim, 53 masjid kampung dan 19 balai surau.

Mengulas lanjut, Mohd. Isham berkata, bakal pengantin dan keluarga mereka dinasihatkan merujuk kenyataan akhbar yang akan diterbitkan Mahkamah Syariah dalam masa terdekat.
