Brad Pitt to suit up as Brioni brand ambassador

Brioni, which describes Brad Pitt as a"film and style icon", will celebrate its 75th anniversary early next year.

The ties between Brioni and Hollywood are growing ever closer as the years go by. Having called on the talents of Anthony Hopkins, Samuel L. Jackson, and Harvey Keitel, to name a few, it has now enrolled another major name from the world of film, Brad Pitt, for its next campaign. In line with a custom established by its previous communications, Brioni aims to present the American actor wearing suits and other creations by the brand in a series of black and white photographs.

The Italian house broke the news on its Instagram account, along with a red-carpet snapshot of Brad Pitt. Not surprisingly, the picture in question, which was taken on the occasion of the last Cannes Film Festival in May, shows the hero ofBrioni, which describes Brad Pitt as a"film and style icon", will celebrate its 75th anniversary early next year.

Matt Dillon is the most recent Hollywood actor to have posed for Brioni, a distinction that has also been enjoyed by such luminaries as Armie Hammer, Pierce Brosnan, Harvey Keitel, Anthony Hopkins and Samuel L. Jackson. — AFP Relaxnews
