PETALING JAYA: The Covid-19 pandemic may have brought global football to its knees but the Football Association of Malaysia are planning ahead with their focus on the youngsters.

The championship draw is scheduled to be held on May 5 and with all football activities suspended until April 14, two assignments for the team have been cancelled. “We already had to call off two assignments for the squad. To be honest, we don’t even know about the championship’s status, there are just so many uncertainties at the moment, ” said the former national team coach.

“We are working with Brad to plan ahead and at the moment, this is the most we can do. The positive thing is this situation affects all the teams in the world, so everyone has the same problem.
