Jasin OCPD Deputy Supt Mispani Hamdan said the couple's 11-year-old daughter was seriously injured in the 11am accident on Saturday .
He identified the deceased as Alif Daiyan Shamsuri while his sister Auni Dalili Shamsuri is now being treated at Melaka Hospital together with her father Shamsuri Mohd, 45. "Shamsuri's 43-year-old wife sustained minor injuries," he said, adding that the couple are staff of Jasin Hospital. DSP Mispani said the car driven by Shamsuri was rammed by a four-wheel drive from the opposite direction.DAP Mispani said the accident is being investigated under Section 41 of the Road Transport Act 1987.
