It was learnt that the zinc roof was blown away by strong wind coupled with heavy rain that lashed several parts of Kedah.
Kedah Fire and Rescue Department assistant operations director Mohamadul Ehsan Mohd Zain said the department received a call on the incident at 6.32pm. "The team arrived at 6.40pm and the operation commander found out that boy suffered minor injuries to his head after the ceiling of the house fell onto his head," he said.He added that the tree blocking the road has been cut using a chainsaw and cleared away.
