MIRI: A primary five schoolboy who went missing three days ago in a forest along the Bintulu-Miri Pan Borneo highway has been found alive on Friday morning (Nov 8).

Stanley Anyeh, 11, from Rumah Galin longhouse near KM20 of the Bintulu-Miri highway, turned up at the police station in Bintulu on his own at around 10am.The father made a report at the Bintulu police stattion, saying that the boy was nowhere to be seen after he went to the back of the house to do some chores.A search-and-rescue operation was then mounted, with the villagers, the police and the Bintulu Fire and Rescue Department searchers combing the forests and river, but to no avail.

Then at 10am Friday, Bomba Bintulu posted its latest update in the Sarawak Bomba chat group, saying that the Bintulu police had found the boy."The police are now in the process of questioning him as to what happened," said Bomba Bintulu. How the boy managed to make his way to the Bintulu police station is still a puzzle, as his house is about 20km from the town where the police station is located.This story is exclusively For StarBiz Premium subscribers only.
