NSTsports: Earlier, the Malaysian Tenpin Bowling Congress (MTBC) stated that Adrian and Natasha Roslan were selected for the World Cup based on their consistency in the last two years.

‘After finishing in the top 20 of the 2006 and 2011 editions, the 30-year-old feels that he is now ‘better equipped and far more experienced’.

‘Winning the World Championships in 2018 and the ABF Thailand Open earlier this year are definitely a huge boost going into the World Cup. ‘Everything has been good so far, including my training and preparation. It’s now between me and the lanes in Palembang.Earlier, the Malaysian Tenpin Bowling Congress stated that Adrian and Natasha Roslan were selected for the World Cup based on their consistency in the last two years.

‘I’m flattered that MTBC think highly of me, but I always prefer to empty my cup,’said Adrian, who has won numerous titles in the past - including the Asian Games gold, Sea Games gold and the World and Asian Youth crowns.‘The World Cup is slightly different from other competitions because the scores are carried forward from the first game to the final round.‘Good thing is I roughly know the lane conditions at the Jakabaring Sports City because the 2018 Asian Games was held there.

‘I just want to treasure the moment of bowling in my third World Cup and come home with no regrets,’ he said.Malaysia have only won the World Cup once since its inception in 1965 - through Syafiq Ridhwan Abdul Malek in 2012 .
