In case you’re wondering why there is an influx of political content on social media lately, it’s because six Malaysian states which didn’t dissolve their respective Legislative Assemblies during the 15th General Election will be holding a State Election on 12 August.

Perikatan Nasional, which consists of PAS, the former Terengganu state government before its DUN was dissolved announced today that it is offering interest-free loans for purchasing motorcycles for working individuals with an income of RM4,000 and under. Two days earlier on Friday, BN Terengganu already announced a similar initiative should they win the State Election, though with more specific details compared to PAS’ manifesto.
