The Johor Fire and Rescue Department operations centre said it received an emergency call about the incident at 2.52am on Wednesday .
Ayer Hitam fire station chief Mohammad Shamin Mohamed Salikin said six firemen were deployed to the scene.Shamin said the 31-year-old victim was trapped in the driver's seat and firefighters had to use special equipment to rescue him.The operation, led by senior officer II Shalneeraj Abdullah ended at 3.39am.
In another incident, a 33-year-old lorry driver was injured after he was involved in an accident with another lorry on Wednesday."The lorry, which was carrying chicken, collided into another lorry,'' he said.He said the 31-year-old driver of the other lorry escaped unhurt.
