Boeing 737 slides off Jacksonville runway in US

A commercial Boeing 737 has ended up in the St Johns river after skidding off the runway. – Twitter pic, May 4, 2019

A UNITED States commercial jet with more than 130 people on board has slid into a river in Florida, Xinhua news agency reported, quoting a local mayor. “We have a commercial plane down on the river,” Lenny Curry, mayor of Jacksonville said, adding that first responders are at the scene and “all lives have been accounted for”.
