IPOH: A couple was arrested in Seri Iskandar for concealing the birth of a newborn baby girl and disposing of the body in a river.

Perak Tengah OCPD Supt Barudin Wariso said the two, both 22 years old, were arrested at their homes on Saturday .

“The boyfriend, who works in a biscuit factory in Melaka, then took the body and disposed of it in Sungai Perak near the Perak Water Board pump-house in Bota, ” he said.
