KOTA KINABALU: The bodies of the two children who were reported missing after a boat capsized on Thursday (April 14) have been found.

A Sabah Fire and Rescue services spokesman said villagers recovered the bodies along the coast of Pulau Puno Puno at 8.30am on Saturday .

He said the bodies were handed over to the marine police to be transported back to the Semporna Hospital for a post-mortem.On Thursday, five people drowned when a boat with 21 people capsized at about 8.45am off Pulau Tandoan, near Semporna.Police arrested the boat's 64-year-old skipper on Friday and are investigating the case for negligence.
