Pasaran kewangan domestik kekal berdaya tahan, walaupun tempoh turun naik, terutama disebabkan oleh perkembangan global.

BNM berkata, bagi keseluruhan 2019, inflasi utama secara puratanya dijangkakan stabil secara menyeluruh berbanding 2018.

BNM dalam kenyataannya hari ini berkata, berikutan penurunan kadar siling dan lantai, koridor OPR masing-masing dikurangkan kepada 3.25% dan 2.75%.“Ini konsisten dengan pendirian dasar monetari untuk menyokong laluan pertumbuhan yang mantap di tengah-tengah kestabilan harga. Jawatankuasa Dasar Monetari akan terus mengawasi dan menilai baki risiko sekitar prospek pertumbuhan dan inflasi domestik,” katanya.

Walaupun pengetatan dalam kedudukan kewangan global telah merosot sedikit, ketidaktentuan dasar yang semakin meningkat boleh menyebabkan pelarasan pasaran kewangan yang besar dan seterusnya menjejaskan unjuran keseluruhan. Unjuran dasar adalah untuk ekonomi Malaysia berkembang dalam lingkungan yang diunjurkan sebanyak 4.3% kepada 4.8%.
