The Best Western hotel located at Section 13 of Petaling Jaya has been designated as a quarantine centre for Malaysian’s returning to the country from overseas.

The hotel which shares a compound with Centrestage PJ apartments released a notice to the residents on April 4. According to Centrestage’s management, they explained that these returning Malaysians will be screened at arrival points and put in quarantine at the hotel while awaiting results. “Movements of persons under quarantine will be limited to their rooms and monitored by police and medical personnel,” the management stated.

It was also added that person who test positive for Covid-19 will be immediately sent to Serdang Hospital, and the rooms sanitised by health authorities. “In view of this situation, some common areas such as the ground floor, Block B lift areas, level 3A and basement car park will be closed until further notice,” the management told the Centrestage apartment residents through a notice.
