Timbalan Perdana Menteri berkata, untuk tujuan itu, 500 pekerja syarikat swasta menjadi perintis kursus berkenaan yang dianjurkan Lembaga Penduduk dan Pembangunan Keluarga Negara untuk tahun ini.“Bermula 9 Julai 2019, LPPKN dilantik sebagai penyedia latihan keibubapaan berdaftar kepada majikan sektor swasta untuk tempoh tiga tahun.
“Ini projek rintis kerjasama antara HRDF dan LPPKN dan kursus ini layak ditawarkan kepada syarikat yang berdaftar dengan HRDF sahaja,” katanya ketika berucap merasmikan Forum ‘Keibubapaan Kreatif Mendepani Cabaran Alaf Baru’ sempena Sambutan Hari Ibu Bapa peringkat Kebangsaan 2019 di Universiti Putra Malaysia di Serdang, hari ini.
Dr Wan Azizah, yang juga Menteri KPKWM berkata, pembiayaan HRDF adalah menerusi pemberian insentif yuran latihan kepada majikan yang berdaftar dengan HRDF membabitkan hampir 27,000 syarikat.Beliau juga berkata Kementerian Sumber Manusia turut mengiktiraf bidang kemahiran keibubapaan dalam senarai latihan bidang berdaftar di bawah HRDF.
Dalam perkembangan lain, Dr Wan Azizah berkata sehingga Mac 2019, LPPKN melaksanakan sebanyak 21, 561 program pendidikan kekeluargaan dan sejumlah 2.7 juta peserta memperoleh manfaat. Beliau juga berkata kerajaan meletakkan sasaran bagi mencapai indeks kesejahteraan keluarga melepasi skor 8.00 menjelang 2020.
