The staff who attended to me were initially pleasant, but what began as a discussion on the “complimentary” treatments swiftly transformed into a push to buy their more expensive packages, leaving me questioning the integrity of their tactics. They became very forceful as they attempted to sell their packages ranging from RM19,000 to RM30,000.
These establishments used the same marketing tactics, i.e. enticing potential customers with offers of complimentary services via social media to visit their centres and then pressuring them to purchase their costly packages when they turn up.
