Major change: Muhyiddin , Ahmad Faizal and Hamzah greeting attendees at the EGM. — ART CHEN/The StarSELAYANG: Bersatu has passed a motion to automatically nullify the membership of any of the party’s elected representative who shifts allegiance to rival parties.

According to the motion, any Bersatu state assemblyman or MP who disobeyed party’s orders will cease to be a member automatically. The six MPs are Zahari Kechik , Iskandar Dzulkarnain Abdul Khalid , Syed Abu Hussin Hafiz Syed Abdul Fasal , Suhaili Abdul Rahman , Mohd Azizi Abu Naim and Datuk Dr Zulkafperi Hanapi .

“However, some of them have no fear – such as Tanjung Karang MP – and have even turned their back on their promises to God,” said Muhyiddin. “They should have left but they did not because they know it will trigger the anti-hopping law and have to vacate their seats,” he said.
