Datuk Mohd Rafiq Naizamohideen said Noor Effandi had gone against party lines for attending a press conference to announce his exit from the Barisan Nasional-led Melaka government.
On Monday , Noor Effandi together with Umno state lawmakers Datuk Seri Idris Haron and Datuk Nor Azman Hassan , and Independent Datuk Norhizam Hassan Baktee , declared that they have lost confidence in the leadership of Melaka Chief Minister Datuk Seri Sulaiman Md Ali. On another note, Mohd Rafiq, who is also state Perikatan Nasional chief, announced that the coalition will hold a discussion with Melaka Umno to look into the possibility of cooperation if Melaka goes to the polls following the dissolution of the Legislative Assembly on Tuesday .
