KUALA LUMPUR: Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia memfailkan permohonan semakan kehakiman kedua bagi mencabar tindakan Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia menyita dua akaun bank parti itu.Permohonan semakan kehakiman itu difailkan oleh Setiausaha Kerja Bersatu, Datuk Kapten Muhammad Suhaimi Yahya bagi pihak Bersatu melalui firma guaman, Tetuan Chetan Jethwani & Co. di Mahkamah Tinggi di sini semalam.
Turut dinamakan sebagai responden ialah 15 pegawai SPRM yang menjalankan siasatan dan melaksanakan perintah penyitaan akaun tersebut. Menurut afidavit yang difailkan Bersatu mendakwa pada 19 April lalu, akaun CIMB dan Ambank miliknya telah disita tanpa membuat serahan perintah penyitaan tersebut di bawah Seksyen 50 Akta Pencegahan Pengubahan Wang Haram, Pencegahan Pembiayaan Keganasan dan Hasil Daripada Aktiviti Haram .
Menurut plaintif, tindakan SPRM telah membekukan kesemua akaun milik Bersatu secara salah berdasarkan tuduhan-tuduhan palsu, tohmahan dan fitnah jahat secara bersekongkol dengan pemimpin kerajaan untuk menimbulkan kebencian dan kemarahan orang awam terhadap Muhyiddin.
