PETALING JAYA: Gabungan NGO Islam hari ini mendesak pihak berkuasa dan golongan agamawan mengkaji semula larangan warga asing sertai solat berjemaah di masjid, mengatakan mereka patut dibenarkan jika bebas Covid-19.

“Alasan tidak boleh dan melarang mereka ke ‘rumah Allah’ kerana mereka pelarian dan orang luar adalah sama sekali bertentangan dengan Islam,” katanya kenyataan bersama Presiden Mapim, Azmi Abdul Hamid, Pengerusi Manar, Ahmad Awang, dan Pengerusi Shura, Abdul Ghani Samsudin. Kerajaan ketika mengumumkan pembukaan masjid secara berperingkat di seluruh negara berkata hanya orang tempatan akan dibenarkan sertai solat berjemaah dan solat Jumaat.
