JOHOR BAHRU: Dalam usaha merealisasikan agenda Johor Selamat, kerajaan negeri meluluskan pembelian 1,500 sistem televisyen litar tertutup untuk dipasang di tiga bandar raya di negeri ini.
Menurutnya, inisiatif tersebut bagi menggantikan kamera yang rosak termasuk peranti tidak berfungsi yang ditempatkan di kawasan tumpuan orang ramai di sekitar bandar raya ini. “CCTV ini akan menggunakan kamera AI, iaitu menggunakan teknologi tinggi yang boleh ‘scan’ wajah, nombor plat kereta dan data-data yang kita peroleh melalui apa yang kita ‘scan’ itu.
Mohd. Jafni berkata, pemasangan CCTV di semua PBT berkenaan akan dilaksanakan menjelang hujung tahun ini.
