Bekas pemain Liverpool puji kualiti padang Bukit Jalil

PETALING JAYA: Pujian wajar diberikan kepada Perbadanan Stadium Malaysia apabila berjaya memastikan keadaan permukaan padang Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil terlepas daripada berterusan menjadi kritikan peminat bola sepak tanah air.

Sepanjang perlawanan tersebut berlangsung, tiada sebarang takungan air di atas permukaan padang malah tiada rumput tercabut ketika kedua-dua pasukan itu beraksi. “Saya boleh bermain dengan baik dan padang kelihatan baik sahaja. Padang berada dalam keadaan terbaik seperti yang sepatutnya,” kata Johnson yang pernah menyarung jersi The Reds dari 2009 hingga 2015.

Keadaan permukaan padang SNBJ sentiasa menjadi perhatian memandangkan stadium itu turut digunakan sebagai venue konsert berkapasiti tinggi memandangkan itu adalah cara terbaik bagi menjana sumber pendapatan.
