Beliau berkata, Gindalan dan keluarga beliau yang mengambil inisiatif mendaftarkan kebun berkenaan bagi mendapatkan bantuan tunai tersebut. “Gindalan dan keluarganya yang mengurus kebun itu dan setelah sekian lama bantuan itu diberikan kepadanya,” kata beliau dalam satu kenyataan yang dikeluarkan di Kobe, Jepun.
Di Sabah, pekebun kecil getah yang memiliki kebun seluas 6 ekar atau kurang dan merupakan rakyat Malaysia berhak mendapat bantuan monsun tanpa mengira kedudukan.
