Kota Kinabalu: Ahli Lembaga Pelawat Hospital Mesra Bukit Padang komited membantu pesakit yang mengalami penyakit mental agar pulih dan kembali kepada masyarakat.
“Setelah pulih, kita akan mengadakan pelbagai program untuk mereka dan masyarakat untuk menghilangkan stigma tentang pesakit yang mengalami mental meskipun kita tahu ia satu proses yang agak lama dan susah,” katanya selepas mengadakan kunjungan hormat kepada Yang Dipertua Negeri Sabah, Tun Juhar Mahiruddin di Istana Seri Kinabalu, Selasa.
Sementara itu, Pengarah HMBP, Dr. Firdaus Abdul Aziz menyatakan proses rawatan turut mendapat pelbagai sokongan bagi mencapai tahap pemulihan yang baik. “Di HMBP, perawatan yang kami jalankan turut mendapat sokongan daripada terapi pekerjaan, fisioterapi, kaunselor dan pakar psikologi bertujuan mencapai kepada pemulihan dari pelbagai aspek seperti psikologi, mental dan fizikal.
