PETALING JAYA: Menteri Hal Ehwal Ekonomi, Azmin Ali memuat naik beberapa gambar pertemuannya dengan Yang di-Pertuan Agong di Istana Negara, selepas Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah kembali daripada lawatan khas 3 hari ke Emiriah Arab Bersatu minggu lalu.
Dalam catatan di Twitter hari ini, timbalan presiden PKR itu mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Agong atas pertemuan itu.Azmin berkata, kementeriannya akan merebut peluang untuk memperkukuhkan hubungan ekonomi dua hala dalam pelbagai sektor bagi menambah nilai kerjasama Malaysia dan UAE, susulan lawatan khas Agong minggu lalu.
Sultan Abdullah mengadakan lawatan pertama ke UAE selepas mengangkat sumpah sebagai Agong ke-16 pada 31 Januari lalu. Lawatan khas yang berakhir Jumaat lalu itu bertujuan memperkukuhkan hubungan Malaysia dan negara Teluk Arab itu.
