PETALING JAYA: Kementerian Perdagangan Antarabangsa dan Industri, Mohamed Azmin Ali akan mengetuai pasukan Malaysia dalam perbincangan dengan kerajaan Singapura mengenai projek kereta api laju Kuala Lumpur-Singapura .
Azmin dalam kenyataan berkata kedua-dua negara bersetuju untuk menyambung semula perbincangan mengenai projek prasarana itu “dalam masa terdekat”.“Keputusan ini dicapai setelah kedua-dua belah pihak bersetuju untuk melanjutkan tempoh penangguhan keputusan mengenai projek kereta api laju Kuala Lumpur- Singapura sehingga 31 Dis,” katanya.
Sebelum ini, Menteri Pengangkutan Singapura, Khow Boon Wan berkata penangguhan projek sepanjang 350km itu dilanjutkan atas permintaan Malaysia bagi membolehkan kedua-dua negara membincangkan sebarang perubahan.
