PETALING JAYA: Mohamed Azmin Ali has acknowledged Anwar Ibrahim’s statement in which the PKR president said he accepted the police findings of their probe into a gay sex video that allegedly implicated the economic affairs minister.
The Port Dickson MP had previously said if investigations proved that Azmin was involved in the video clip, then he should resign – a statement that led to a rebuke from Azmin. Last night, Azmin – who did not attend the party’s retreat at a resort in Port Dickson – said he took note of Anwar’s stand after going through his full statement.
“This is in line with my earlier stand that gutter politics within the party must be fought till the end,” the Gombak MP tweeted.
