AZHAR Azizan Harun nafi dakwaan bahawa beliau menolak usul supaya meletakkan jawatan sebagai Yang di-Pertua Dewan Rakyat daripada dibahas di Dewan Rakyat. Dalam kenyataan hari ini, beliau mengakui pejabatnya telah menerima usul berkenaan daripada beberapa pengusul, namun telah mengutus surat kepada semua pengusul bahawa beliau tidak akan membuat sebarang keputusan mengenainya kerana terdapat pencanggahan kepentingan.
