PETALING JAYA: An auxiliary police unit is to be set up to improve security at three well-known temples under the Sri Maha Mariamman Temple Dhevasthanam in Kuala Lumpur.
The Dhevasthanam runs the Sri Maha Mariamman Temple on Jalan Tun HS Lee, the Courthill Sri Ganesar Temple on Jalan Pudu Lama and the Batu Caves Sri Subramaniya Swamy Temple. A statement released by the Dhevasthanam today said the police team was led by deputy director of the Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department in Bukit Aman, Dev Kumar.
